The Mule and Roxy's Ice Cream - Oklahoma City

While we (my mom, aunt, cousin, and I) were down in Plaza District OKC last week, we visited The Ruff Life Lingerie Store, Bad Granny's Bazaar Thrift Shop and then ate at The Mule.  I had heard all about their Grilled Cheese with Macaroni and Cheese inside of it so of course, that's what I ordered!  Much like the burger I had at Flatire Burgers that also had mac & cheese inside.  I'm pretty sure you could throw m&c on anything and I would eat it.  Well, maybe not anything.

And there it is....the Macaroni Pony: Jalepeno Cornbread, Chipotle BBQ Pulled Pork, 3 Cheese Mac and Cheese, and a Pickle.  Is your mouth watering yet??

They also have a Big Ass Grilled Cheese (love the name).  It didn't really matter who ordered what because we all got sandwiches and split them four ways.

I love going to a place that has a selection of "different" beers.

Please.

We ordered the Okie Poutine appetizer - Beer Battered French Fries, House White Gravy, Watonga Cheese Curds.  Cheese Curds?  Sounded weired to me but my aunt ordered them.  They were pretty amazing!

Here is the Macaroni Pony.

My cousin got the Croque Madame: Sourdough bread, Black Forest Ham, Gruyere, Dijon Mustard, House Gravy, and an Egg.  This was probably my favorite sandwich - who'da thought..a fried egg on a sandwich?  I had never heard of it, but maybe I've been living under a rock.

This was the Turkey Sandwich that my mom got.  Vienna Wheat, Shaved Turkey Breast, Gruyere, Sharp Cheddar, Lettuce, Tomato, Avocado, Spicy Aioli.  This was basically a fancy club.

And here we have the Big Ass Grilled Cheese: Sourdough Bread, Chef's Choice of Cheese.  Give me this with some tomato soup on a cold day and I will be good to go!

And these onion rings....I have no words.

I got an apple cider beer - The Angry Orchard Crisp Apple.  It's running a close second to my favorite blueberry beer at the Bricktown Brewery.  My cousin got the Rosy Palmer made of sweet tea vodka and lemonade.  It wasn't my favorite drink but it was still good.

After dinner, we stopped by one of the food trucks to get dessert.  We chose Roxy's Ice Cream.

I tried and tried to lighten this picture but I finally gave up.  I got the Salted Caramel, my mom got Chocolate, my aunt got Lemon, and my cousin got Strawberries and Creme.  This ice cream was delish!!  I was kinda sad when mine was gone.

You will win 8 bottles of nail polish including brands: OPI, CHI, Ulta, Avon, 2 Glitter Pots from Julep, and an Ulta Lipgloss! I apologize for the lighting - I will try to get a better picture and upload it. Halloween Treats

For work gifts this year, I used these free printables  and these free printables  to make these cute little treats!  I had a lot of fun making them.  I dragged my poor mom and David around to so many stores looking for different colored Tic Tacs and eyeball candy.  I wanted very badly to make the Vampire Vitamins...who knew it would be so hard to find red Tic Tacs! I also made this easy Halloween Bark. What You Need:   1 Package Halloween Oreos Candy Corn 2 Packages Wilton Candy Melts in White Halloween Sprinkles - I ended up using different sprinkles than the ones in the picture...a girl has a right to change her mind, right? Pretzels - I stole these out of our Trick-or-Treat bowl because I felt like it needed something to offset all the sweetness. 1. Crumble up the Oreos.  I crushed some by hand, some in my food processor and broke some in halves and some in fourths.  Spread out on cookie sheet over wax/parchment paper.  Sprinkle candy corn
