Couponer Wannabe

*I am doing this post from my iPhone on the way down to Temple, Oklahoma to see family (no, I'm not driving!!  But I just wanted to warn you in case there are any typos :)

I like to think I have become a couponer.  Not an extreme one.  I still have some learning to do but I wanted to share my recent coupon adventure.  (Tomorrow I will be posting my coupon binder...yes, I have a coupon binder) 

I want to go ahead and put this out there though...I am not the couponer that has her binder at the register digging for coupons and making people wait in line.  My binder is strictly for organizing.  I get all my coupons ready when I make my list so there is no extra waiting and I don't even take my binder to the store.  I hate to be "that" person.

3 Pantene Products (2 Shampoos and 1 Conditioner) – on sale for 3/$10 – 1000 Reward Points (My friends Cristin and Laura are probably reading this cussing me because I bought Pantene.  I promise, girls...next time I buy hair products, I'll buy Purology!!)
40 Count Glad Forceflex Odor Shield Trash Bags – on sale for $6.99 (these were around 10 bucks before I used my Walgreens Reward Card - so really, I saved more than it shows below) – 750 Reward Points

While I'm not a pro or anything and I don't know all the couponing details, I like to think I did a pretty damn good job!!

    I am addicted to couponing!! I have done a couple of posts on it. And i'm actually going to head to Target tonight to use up some coupons that are about to expire. It's soooooo addicting!!!! Good job on your stuff!!!

Halloween Treats

For work gifts this year, I used these free printables  and these free printables  to make these cute little treats!  I had a lot of fun making them.  I dragged my poor mom and David around to so many stores looking for different colored Tic Tacs and eyeball candy.  I wanted very badly to make the Vampire Vitamins...who knew it would be so hard to find red Tic Tacs! I also made this easy Halloween Bark. What You Need:   1 Package Halloween Oreos Candy Corn 2 Packages Wilton Candy Melts in White Halloween Sprinkles - I ended up using different sprinkles than the ones in the picture...a girl has a right to change her mind, right? Pretzels - I stole these out of our Trick-or-Treat bowl because I felt like it needed something to offset all the sweetness. 1. Crumble up the Oreos.  I crushed some by hand, some in my food processor and broke some in halves and some in fourths.  Spread out on cookie sheet over wax/parchment paper.  Sprinkle candy corn
